I still use an old 2 wheeled cart, nothing wrong with it, but my pro told me pushing a 3 wheel cart is "better" than draggin the 2 wheel around....... for what it is worth ....... wants to sell a cart of course !

I have been looking at some models and I like the ClicGear models ...... there are still a few 2.0 models in stock, but the current model is the 3.0 .... price difference about $50 and I don't see $50 differences ....... or ?

Other models/brand to give a closer look ?

I use a Clicgear 2.0, and I would agree, not sure there are $50 worth of improvements between the two.  There are some other models out there, like the Sun Mountain Speed Cart, which I looked at but decided against inflatable wheels and opted for the Clicgear style.  Also there are several 4 wheel versions, like the Bag Boy.

Golfsmith's TourTrekker one click push cart is on sale for $129 and its very comparable to the clicgear.  I had both of them side by side and its almost identical.  Though the clicgear may have superior craftsmenship to the tour trekker, thats a ~$80 difference.

I bought the 13.5lb Caddytek from TGW for $99 including shipping.  Awesome cart to push, extremely light and is able to do what I was looking for at that price range...

I recently bought a Trekker TC3 Freestyle. Looked at several different high end 3 wheelers and my choice came down to the Clickgear and the Trekker. The Trekker was $40 less but that was only a minor consideration. I actually liked it a little better. It's very light and well constructed and ergonomically it seemed superior to every cart I looked at, although the Clickgear was very close. Check one out before you make your final decision. It might just be the cart for you.

I have a clic gear 3.0 and the biggest difference I could see is that it has a much larger storage flap by the handle. I can fit my wallet, cellphone and keys in there along with 3 golf balls and a few other small things. Or if I put all that stuff in my bag I can fit enough food for a round and have easy access if I want to eat something when I am walking to my ball. They are really good carts and I love mine. Took me a few times setting it up to work it out but after that it is really easy.
