Re-Gripping golf clubs

Just curious for those who do there own regripping, like i do, whats your grip preference and process.

For me, i like the Golf Pride Tour Velvet Standard Size. I use the double sided tape for my buildup, i do four layers. of tape, with the final layer being the one to hold the grip. I also make sure the Golf Pride name is underneath the club so it doesn't mis-align me.

For my putter, i am trying something new, a Winn Excel RF oversided grip with 4 layers of tape. Something larger than my old putter grip, and no flat top.

saevel25, try the search, you'll find all the info you could possibly need/want there. i think there've been a ton of threads about gripping golf clubs. but, since you asked, i use 3 wraps, tacki-mac grips (white) and on the putter it's a double wrapped scotty custom shop grip.
