Demo'd a Superfast Rescue today

So today I demo'd a Taymormade Burner Superfast 2.0 rescue 3 today. The club is one I am trying to decide between. I have to say the club looks great and gave me plenty of confidence standing over the ball. I was having a great round (for a high handicapper) and had a few chances to try it out. Upon address the club feels very natural with the shaft not being crazy long like some hybrids I've hit. Contact with the ball makes a very satisfying sound that reinforces the confidence this club gave me. The shots I hit well with the rescue went very far (200+). To give some reference I hit my burner plus 9 iron 170 today on a par 3 that stuck 10 feet from the pin. I did get one off-center hit from a difficult lye today that went right but did not slice and still went about 200 yds. Overall I was very impressed with this club and will be adding it to my bag. The pro shop wants 160.00 for the club but I am finding it new on eBay for 100-120. I am still a novice to this sport so if my terminology or any thing seems out of whack I'm sorry but I thought anyone else looking for a club to rescue you when you top it off the tee I highly suggest you take the Taylormade Burner Superfast Rescue out for a test.

Ive got the superfast 2.0 driver 9.5 degree and love it, yesterday i started swinging through with the hips and really smashing into the ball, outdrove everyone all day and didnt loose one ball,

I want the 3wood and 5 wood and 3 rescue club next to complete the set :)

Sorry, but I'm committed to my Ping G15 hybrids.  I stuck a shot on the green last weekend from 190 yards so I can't change now.

the Ping hybrids are one in contention. If they feel better to me and my swing they may win. I hope to demo one this weekend

Not sure if the G15 2 hybrid I just got is above my level or what, but for the life of me I have yet to hit it good in 3 range sessions and 2 rounds.  I am still hitting my 4 iron better and longer than it.

I say if you feel comfortable with the Superfast, pull the trigger.

So frustrated with hybrids right now I am opting for my 5w as my safety club off the tee and to advance the ball on par 5's

Yeah the super fast felt great and really meshed with me. This weekend I'm playing a course that has the G15 for demo so I'll hit it but it's going to have to be really amazing to out do the TM rescue

A good hybrid is tough to beat.     I have 2 Adams A4's (#2 & 4) - love them ... hit the 4 off a tee to within 8 ft on a long par 3 earlier in the week & made closest to the pin ...

      I caught a video on this driver; the face tech seems crazy. Looking at the heat map for ball speed, hitting it basically anywhere on the face only loses a few percent ball speed. The surprising and counter intuitive part to me was that for flat faced clubs, ball speed loss is directly proportional to distance loss. For clubs with bulge and roll this is apparently not true. The surprising part of that story being that the max distance potential looks to be a tiny pee sized area for this driver, and I feel in general for drivers. The counter intuitive part being (the myth?) that blade irons have a pee sized sweet spot and missing that tiny spot causes dramatic losses. And that modern drivers, maybe 2017 on, have massive sweet spots and are ultra forgiving. Where in reality, if this heat map data is valid and reliable, it might be a bit of the opposite. This insane tech driver appears to have a pea sized "sweet spot" while Mizuno Pro 241 irons are 28% more forgiving compared to the average of all clubs measured. Not compared to other players irons, compared to all clubs from all categories, players to SGI! The Pro 241 being essentially just a solid chunk of metal with no "tech" at all. Which for me devolves into a whole mess of what is forgiveness really? And in measurable and quantifiable results how many yards, or feet, does that translate into?
