Early CG15 Wedges: Price cut

Was at local Golf Galaxy today.

The first-wave Cleveland CG15 wedges with 2010 "Zip Grooves" are now on sale for $99. The 2011 versions with "CC" grooves (AKA "Tour Zip") are still $119.

CG15 has slightly smaller head than CG14, and more of a blade look.

Note: Trade-in for CG14 wedges is about $20.

Would you say its worth it over the CG14? I am probably going to be getting one or two of these soon.


Edit: You can get two for $169 on golf galaxy's website right now too with a offer they have going.

It's all a matter of what you like. I got excellent results from a CG 14 GW (50.08), and added others.

The original CG15s felt nice also, but not nice enough to pay $119 rather than $89. Plus, CG14 had gold gel cushion inserts, is easier on hands and tendons if you work on short game a lot.
