New here, Just getting back into golf after a few years out.

Welcome aboard. For what it's worth, it's *far* more annoying for there to be beautiful weather outside in which I could golf, but I'm stuck in the office 14/7.

I am a fellow Air Force golfaholic. I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB. Talk about long winters. Then when I wasnt there I was in the sand or Korea.....lol...I did come back with a good sand game though..Congrats on the new driver. Hope you hit it long and straight.

      I appreciate that you have taken the time to come back and update. Based on what was previously discussed I feel like the points were; forged, feel good, price, and possibly players distance. If you like the "looks" of those Maxfli irons and if price is a major point, then going straight to the source, Maltby, might make sense. Specifically, the TS3 iron. I was looking into this myself and found some reviews: Fit2YouGolf, Lets Play Thru, and ELITE FIT GOLF. As per your update I found the Maxfli to be ~$1300 fitted the way I wanted. Where the TS3 with the same fitting and assembled by Golfworks was less than $750. I suppose the downside is to actually hit the iron you will need to get lucky and find someone in your golf circle who will let you hit theirs or order a 6 or 7 iron to test. However, the way I look at that is being equivalent to some fittings. If you like the results and buy, then the fitting is free, otherwise the price of the fitting is a sunk cost. If name brand is important, then I submit for your consideration - THE BEST OVERALL IRON of 2024...... FACT !! 😉 A bit tongue in cheek that but also, I feel some good points were discussed.
