Ummmmm...kidding, no. I love my sandals during the summer here and in Hawaii and AZ. I have to blow them dry at the turn if I hit traps. I was just curious if anyone else wore them.

Not my thing, but I wouldn't wear that style of sandal off the course either. Flip-flops, sure... But not those

I think I saw someone wearing them once. They seem contradictory, lets put spikes in the ground for traction, then hold a bare foot to it with velcro straps...

LOL. No MANDALS here. I guess it is different out here in Cali. Most men wouldnt be caught dead wearing MANDALS, on or off the course. Good luck with that....

My mom plays in the footjoy sandals, and she loves them. Especially when it's super hot outside. (Secretly, she's just trying to get rid of her sock tan!)

I think I might invest in a pair this summer.

And the fact that you called them "Mandals" is the funniest thing ever... I love it!

I have a pair although I don't use them very often. For an easy going golf game in hot weather they work just fine and they sure help to keep my feet cool which is why I bought them in the first place. If you have an active swing they may not be suitable but then with a balance swing they work fine. One note, stay out of the sand traps.

I got a pair of Bite golf sandals when I lived in San Diego. I mocked them. Then I tried them. Then I loved them. They're great on warm days when you know the weather's going to be dry. I still wear them a few times a year if I'm playing on a very hot day at a muni or if I'm on vacation playing someplace that's casual.

The only problem I've ever had with them was having stuff (pine needles, sand) get between my feet and the sandals. Sandals won't work at some golf courses or in certain weather, but under the right conditions they're pretty sweet.

Feet really aren't my thing. Personally I think it should be illegal for men to wear sandals period, women okay but men ugh And the whole socks with sandals look, two words, NOT GOOD!

I wear sandals all of the time but never on the golf course as I don't think they look appropriate. When playing golf I like to dress like a golfer, and that includes shoes. I have no problems whatsoever with other players wearing sandals so long as your course's dress code allows for it, they're just not for me.

Where I live a lot of blokes wear sandals all of the time during the warmer months. I live about a solid driver from the beach and go walking along the beach and go bushwalking on well defined tracks a few times a week and sandals are just comfortable and nice and easy to get on and off if you decide to jump in to the surf for a quick swim.

They're not your usual old "Jesus" type sandals anymore either, these things are well made with excellent soles and very comfortable!
