Well, I know it's always tough to recover from Masters weekend, but does anyone really care about the tournament this week on the PGA Tour?

I know none of the top ten guys will be there, but there are still some guys who can play the game and step up at anytime.

I know there are some guys in the field I am ready to watch this weekend, and I hope they do well. Also, Cink and Love III have won 7 times on this course between the two of them. So that should make it more interesting.

I know I won't watch near as much as I did this past weekend, but I'll definitely tune in to see if some of my less popular favorites play well at Harbour Town.

Does anyone else here really care for this upcoming tourney?

By the way, my preview can be found on the main page of The Sand Trap. It's a good read, check it out.

I like this Tourney. I like the course. And I love watching DLIII win there. I Enjoy watching the finishing stretch. Hopefully Love can get back on track this week.

He beat me to it. I love the course and I love watching how players play it. It's almost like a back-to-back "throwback" special with Augusta last week (though, admittedly, neither course is playing much like they did 25 years ago).

I love the course (I've played it), LOVE the plaid jacket, but I have to say, I tend to agree with Tiger that a short season MIGHT make watching the Tour a little more attractive. I'm a little burned out after last week's Masters...I'm building my patio!

I watch all golf. But my interest in this is not real deep. I'm still in Masters withdrawl.

Yeah, it's tough not to be after such as great week at Augusta. And I won't get to watch this tournament much this weekend, as I'll be visiting some friends back home. And I never get to watch 1st and 2nd round coverage because I get off work right when it usually ends for the day.

I'm just glad to see Furyk have a good solid round today and move into the top 10 for the tourney. Hopefully, he will stick around the top and pull out a win on Sunday. He came into the day 9 strokes off the lead, and now he is only 3 off.

Thrash, sounds to me like you need a TIVO!

I'm starting to realize that more and more everyday, especially since I started working for The Sand Trap. It would make my life much easier, especially since I'm gone a lot of weekends and stuff.

TiVo. It's corny, but it will change your life. Everyone says it, and they mean it. And don't settle for imitators (i.e. those cable PVRs). The interface, as any Mac user can tell you, is critically important.

This golf course in in good shape for a total of 3 weeks throughout the year. It sucks when the tournament isn't there and they still want close to $300 for a round there. IMO there are about 5 better courses in the HHI area - Colleton River (both courses), Oldfield, Long Cove Club, Belfair (both), and Berkely Hall (both).

    • Day 203 (21 Nov 24) - Weekly nine hole round with my good friend.  Played it as a 7 club challenge (7w, 5h, 7i, 9i, GW, LW, putter).  As we were playing up a set of tees, no super loss of distance off the tee.  Had some good looks at birdie, failed to convert.  These sessions with fewer clubs really helps with course management.
    • Tell me about it - shouldn’t have second guessed…
    • My wife is going to drag me to see Wicked.   She is very excited to see it.   We saw the musical while in Chicago and thought it was very good.  I'm not usually a fan of musicals but I'm looking forward to seeing this.   Gladiator 2 does look good.   I'm going to go back and watch the original Gladiator before going to the theater.
    • MSN Glover expressed his dissatisfaction with what he termed as 'cool kid meetings' between Jordan Spieth, Patrick Cantlay, Tiger Woods and other high-profile golfers. "I think it's terrible," he stated. "And then hiding behind pace of play, I think, challenges our intelligence. They think we're stupid.     "Don't cut fields because it's a pace of play issue. Tell us to play faster, or just say you're trying to appease six guys and make them happy so they don't go somewhere else and play golf." Fitzpatrick joined the conversation on X (formerly Twitter), with the 30-year-old echoing Glover's sentiments regarding the PGA Tour changes. "He's so right," Fitzpatrick posted. "Pathetic that pace of play is spoken about every year and nothing ever gets done."     I agree. Instead of  penalizing  players for  turtle  play they appease the  slow jerks  by  cutting the  fields. They will play even slower  knowing they will NEVER be  penalized.
    • I've been Playing Golf for: 3 years  My current handicap index or average score is: 1.5 My typical ball flight is: neutral /slight draw The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: hook   Looking for some advice please folks. Started golfing three years ago and got hooked. Had some early lessons and was a slicer etc.  I used to have a severe inside takeaway and through working hard to fix as ever (this game…) it’s now gone too far the other way where I take it back way outside.  i think it looks really bad and have gotten a lesson last year where we tried to competely reset the swing and it ruined things for months as I couldn’t get it to stick (my fault).    anyway do I need to fix this? I hit it reasonably solid but don’t know what else I’m looking at or need to clean up. All opinions welcomed!  Videos:
