every so slightly toward the hell with their blade putter?

Anytime I'ved used an Anser style putter, I feel like I have to line up and play the ball just a little toward the heel. Any time I try to line the alignment line on the putter with the center of the ball I get a sort of dead feeling at impact; almost as if I caught the ball on the toe. Anyone else, or am I the only weird one?

I used to always hit off the toe, so I simply lined up with the ball on the heel. Eventually it went away and now I just line up with the ball in the middle of the face.

The center of gravity of a putter is angled slightly. Putts struck perfectly on the same vertical line can feel towards the toe, the heel, or dead center even though it's all struck where the alignment aids are...

When you say the center of gravity is angled, slightly, what are you referring too? Where is it angled? How does one need to impact the ball to counteract this so that the putt feels solid?

Basically, that the sweet spot is a single spot on the clubface, but the projection of the sweet spot is angled around the edge of a circumference. You can miss the ball directly on the sweet spot but the putter face will feel like it was struck slightly on the heel (A) or on the toe (B):

I think I've got that diagram right.

Think you could draw that out with crayon so it's more on my level?

So is B top of the putter face and A is the bottom? If I impact it on the bottom (A) it will feel like the heel and if I impact it on the top (B) it will feel like the toe?

I don't understand the line in the drawing... Is it indicating that the face is slightly angled because of the loft of the putter?

The opposite. The line about which you won't feel any twisting is an arc. It's a little higher in the toe and a little lower in the heel. So if you hit the ball "above" the sweet spot it'll feel like a heel impact. Hit it below the sweet spot and it'll feel like toe impact.
