Just started playing golf a couple months ago.  The main strength of my game right now is my short game, I believe, with my main weakness being my driver.  Up until my last couple rounds I've fought an extreme banana slice with the driver off and on for the entirety of my playing experience.  I've starting toning down my swing speed with the driver and I can hit it straight fairly frequently, but my distance has taken a serious hit, with most drives being around 200-220.  While 200 in the middle of the fairway is better than 250-260 in the next hole's fairway, I feel like my game would take a major leap if I could add some of that distance back on without slicing.  Up to this point I've played with goodwill/garage sale clubs, but I intend to purchase new clubs at some point in the near future, though I don't know for sure what I want to get as far as type of clubs or specs of those clubs.
