R7 TP Irons

Is anyone out there playing the R7 TP's... I recently picked up a set, and haven't had a chance to play them yet.. Just looking for people opinions?

I like them, but I prefer the RAC MB TPs more. They're a bit too much of a "help the golfer" club for me. I prefer more of a muscle-back type iron.

love these clubs....used to play Titleist 735cm and Mizuno MP32....these are the best b/c best overall.....good feel, looks great at address, feel like you are cheating b/c very forgiving for a player's club.....

borrowed my friends while he was outta town and took them to the course twice. scary long (prolly 5yrds longer throughout the set than mine)...and like a couple people have said very forgiving. i find them to be better feeling and better looking versions of the RAC LT2's that are currently in my bag. the best part is they dont come with Taylormades crappy OEM grips,(golf pride tour velvets come standard).

I am sure you have played with them by now but I'll add my opinion. I think they are great clubs. Considering my handicap, I was concerned they would be too good for me. My club pro assured me they were easy to hit and he was right. I was wanting something that I could grow with and these are the jobbies!

I did get a chance to play with them.. and I agree they are a bit much of a "help the golfer" club for a true players iron. I think they work well for an early season set of irons, where all the pieces are not quite fitting together. However as I get back to playing more (hopefully when it warms up) I think the 735's will come back out.

Also had a chance to play the TM Superquad, and surprisingly lost abotu 10 yards compared to my TP 425... Not a bad driver though..

I'm new in this forum and i like it very much!
How you can read in my signature, i play the T/M RAC Combo TP irons.
Now I would like to buy the new T/M R7 TP, what do you think?

Can you compare them to my clubs?
Will i feel the change betweeen my forged irons and the casted r7 tp?

I think the r7 TP would be a little easier to play... And I would like that :D

i demoed the clubs at GG a few days ago and they are definitely nice clubs and are probably one of the most forgiving "players irons" on the market. I compared them to the 735s 755s mp60 and mp67. Of the 5 the 735s, mp60 and r7 tp were probably my favorite, but my swing is pretty rusty with only golfing twice last year. The mp-67s are very good but the least forgiving of the bunch.

I think they could be almost better than the r7 TPs, because thay are also forged! Someone of you played them?

Today I treid for the first time the r7 Tps, and I really don't like them...
I play the rac tp combos, of course they are less forgiving but you know when you miss a shot! On the r7 TPs IMO you hear to much the "click" when you hit the ball! I don't know for what the TP stands on this irons. I'm kind of disapointed in this club. I think I will go for the japanese r7 forged, if I find them in a good shape and good price...
