Cameron Ball Tool vs Putting Tool

I am considering picking up either the cameron Ball Tool and the Putting tool ( http://www.puttingtool.com/live/ ).  The concern about the Cameron I have is that I heard it is thick.  I am not sure if anyone has any info on the Putting tool but am wondering how thick the putting tools is as well.  Basically, which one is thicker and what are the specs if anyone knows?

I've had both. Unless you absolutely must have something with Scotty Cameron's name on it, get the Putting Tool in the colors and shapes and sizes you want. I have a bunch of ones with The Sand Trap logo on them. They're nice.

Thanks but since you had both, which one is thicker.  That's my queston, how do they compare in thickness?

The Putting Tools are thinner and lighter. The Camerons are thicker but have smoother (rounded) edges and are heavier. The heft is "nice" feeling wise but they're still... thicker/heavier.

what's the concept behind these?  you adjust your ball marker to your line and then place your ball with the stripe aligned as well?

It's supposed to help you line up the marker to the line you want to put along, then you can position the ball's line (if it has one, or if you draw one) to it, so that you putt along your intended line.

      Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.

      So the question was posed today by some of my friends.  Is a pitch mark the same as a divot?  I thought NO, but they argued if your ball lands in another player's divot (made by club during a swing) this was the same as a pitch mark, i.e. the ball mark made when the ball lands
