Have been struggling lately with my putter and I am looking at upgrading to a Scotty Cameron. The current 3 ball putter I use has a very angled shaft that ends up forcing me into a position that is not working for me. I like to work with a more pendulum based swing where my arms hang down more. A pretty straight up and down shaft.  I am thinking that I might benefit from a shorter shaft as well. With all the setup options, looking for advice on what might be the best for a pendulum type swing. I am looking at the various Studio Select models.

Any advice is appreciated.

if you prefer a straighter shaft...try the studio select newport 2.6...since going to mine i dont' think i'll putt with another putter. i've averaged 28-29 putts per round since switching and have seen more balls drop that i didn't see or wouldn't see with my other offset heel shafted putters i've had in the past. i say hit any/all and see what you like, but if straights the name, go with a 2.6 for a try...awesome puttter

The 2.6 that Gigoguy recommended is currently Scotty's only offering with a straight shaft going directly into the head. However, before purchasing I would wait, as there will be a completely new Cameron line(s) coming out this fall, which may give you additional options.

If you don't like a lot of OFFSET I'd say find a 1.5 or the 2.6.  Another option for a straight back and through would be a Kombi.  Just my 2cents.  Good luck!

Appreciate all the feedback. Think I am going to go over to the local golfers warehouse and try a bunch out. See what feels best.
