I am borrowing this from the Saturdaynight Live skit about Mike Ditka and Da Bears. When I was in Iraq me and my buddies would pass the tme kind of renacting the skit with things like Donald Rummsfeld Vs. a hurricane.

Hurricane forty tree, Donnie 2,994,874.

You get the point.
What about golf? Who would win the following fight, match, whatever.

For instance:
Vijay Vs. Phil
Arnold Palmer and Arnies Army Vs. the Roman Emipre
Bobby Jones Vs. The Red Army of 1942 Soviet Union

Vijay would take Phil... he's got longer arms and is in better shape. The "Thrilla in Fiji?"

Arnold and Arnies Army cause the Roman Army would be like, "What the...?!" Could Bobby Jones bring his putter to the fight?

I suppose it depends on what age Bobby Jones is. In his 20s, maybe. In his 50s, uhh, no. Sad as it was.

Here's one for y'all:

Hank Haney vs. Butch Harmon. My money's on Hank. Butch already looks like he took a few too many knocks to that one eye.

Erik J. Barzeski —  I knock a ball. It goes in a gopher hole. 🏌🏼‍♂️

Calamity Jane? Hell yeah he's bringing his putter!

Okay, have some fun with this. It doesn't matter actually how old he is when he takes on the red army. It could be the Bobby Jones of 1975 Vs. The Red Army of 1942. It is what age they are in your mind. In my mind Bobby Jones could rise up today and have the cahones to take on the Red Army of 1942, as long as he brings Calamity Jane.

How about :

Tiger Woods Vs. Vs GALVESTON, TEXAS HURRICANE of 1900
(This was the deadliest hurricane of the 20th century.)

Jeff Sluman Vs. Michael Jordan (one on one make it take.)

    • Day 39: did top golf for an hour with the family. It was fun but also not really like real golf at all. Also did some mirror work - working on the backswing stuff mostly.
    • Day 4, 1/2/26.  Played 18 today;  didn't get a chance to warm up (had I known the range was closed, I'd have hit balls at home first).  Played okay, 92 with three balls in the water.  It was raining for more than half the round and I didn't quite appreciate before today just how much I benefit from roll on both drives and approach shots.  I did not adapt well to this change until about hole 15, which is something I have to figure out.
    • Day 143 1-2 Arch wrist in downswing. Having a SLIGHT cup in the lead wrist at the top now. Only paused swings with some rehearsals before swinging at ball.  Used foam ball.
    • Day 459 - 2026-01-02 Had two guys on GEARS Hybrid, so I hopped on afterward (I'm going to do this a lot more often now). So… I've signed myself up for another month of backswing work in two ways: A little more extension of the trail elbow (got into the upper 90s) Less pelvis turn (low 50s).
    • Day 31 (2 Jan 26) - Usual Friday men’s group shootout - good day of shot making  as most shots were right on line to the target point.  Putter and green reads were solid with some great par saves and a really tricky birdie.
