Well went and got fitted for a driver today to get rid of the R9 Superdeep I had just bought for it being near to impossible for me to hit and the Burner Superfast 2.0 ended up being the one I hit the best

Out of R11, Ping G20? , and Older burner.

Best hit with the swing monitor  was 250 carry with 270 something total meaning even with the high shot that i was having these seem like they will roll better. Is it me or do you seem to feel like you do a lot worse in the Indoor nets then out on the range?

I felt like the tee they had was 2 high for my liking and could have changed the out come of a few swings but that's just me. That and the shaft being a little longer seems like it will need some getting used to with me being a short guy as well 5'6

so you Burner guys how do you like this on the course and how are you guys liking the club ? I'll be playing it probably within the next couple days to see my results

Hit it on the range today

the superdeep is probably the best investment in my golf game to date.  It vs the SUMO2 is NOOOOOO where close nice flight path nice distance everything about this club is awesome

Nice to hear it worked out for you! I had just the opistite happen to me, went in to be fir for a new set of callaway razr x irons, hit them great on the monitor not so much on the range!

I have the 2.0 TP.  I aim for the left side of the fairway, or maybe 10 to 15 yards off the left side of the fairway and have been right at 50% fairways hit for my last 7 rounds.   Of my misses 40% of them are right.  If I swing anything over 75% the ball will miss right.   The club performs really well when you just let your arms drop vs. trying to swing out of your shoes.

Looking back I would have tried to find a used TP and have it re-shafted.   Not a fan of the OEM HD6 shaft (about 30 rounds with it so far).

As far as the launch monitor goes, my carry distance was WAY to far compared to real life.

Overall, the 2.0 is really long compared to my DYMO and about even with my FT9 (before the sole plate broke).

Isn't that always the case?

    • We had a member of our senior club who developed a mental block on pulling the trigger. I played with him to see what the membership was talking about. I timed him a few times when he would get over the ball. 45 seconds. He knew he had a mental block and would chide himself, “Just hit it!” Once on the green he was okay and chipping was a bit better. It was painful to watch him struggle. Our “bandaid” was to put him in the last tournament  tee time with two understanding players. We should have suggested to him to take a break from our tournaments. I agree with the idea that when a player realizes they have a problem, the answer is to go fix it and not return until they are able to play at an acceptable pace.
