I really don't have any facts concrete examples, but does it seem to any one else that the tournaments, including Majors where Tiger underperforms a little that they often are held in cooler weather? I don't see any evidence that wind or rain bother him but maybe cold? After all he grew up in California. Maybe cold is the one factor he has a little more trouble adjusting to than say Zach Johnson, who was born and raised in a cold weather state.

IIRC, the weather in Augusta was in the high 40s/low 50s over the weekend. Certainly, that's very cold weather, but Orange County (where Tiger grew up) experiences such cold weather in winter.

Yeah, in addition, I'm pretty sure (no hard evidence) that St. Andrews can get pretty cold...

An interesting point is that Tiger has never won coming from behind. He has always been the leader through 54 holes in his winning majors!

Now I'm not a huge Tiger fan, but he did win the US Open at Bethpage on 4 days of rain and chilly weather.
