I'm getting new irons soon and I've narrowed it down to Mizuno MP 58, 59 or 63s, Taylormade TP MCs, and Titleist AP2. The current irons I have are the Cleveland CG4 Tours with DG S300 and they have met their match. I'm looking for more of a player's iron that will cut through the turf nice, but still has just a little bit of forgiveness. Any opinions/thoughts would be helpful.

I voted for the 59's.  I've hit them and was really impressed.  Clean look, mid high trajectory.  Mizuno does a great job with how they design their soles, playable on all conditions.  Jonathan Byrd and Charles Howell have put them in play already.

Would you say they're inbetween the 58s and 63s as far as forgiveness/sole width/topline thickness? These and the MCs I have yet to hit and am unsure about them. I also like the look of Mizuno irons, too.

Yes I would say they are very close to the 58's.  I haven't hit the 63's.  The MC's are good as well, little more compact looking, just depends on if you want a satin or chrome finish.

Thanks for the input danny, I've narrowed it down to the 63s and 59s. Once I make my decision, I'll get fitted for the right shafts and I'll be good to go. How is your driver search coming along?

very good joe, right now i have the Ping g20 and the titleist 910 d3. I can do much more with the 910, i am able to put draw or fade on my tee shot with ease. But the G20 is just a low bullet down the middle. I dont know what i want
