I finally got a chance to play with this ball. I read that this ball is a good ball around the greens as it has ample spin on it to be aggressive with approach shots.

Yes, this ball does spin quite a bit.

I had several shots that this ball actually back'd up a few feet hitting 8-9 irons to the green. It also has a very nice feel to it when I could really 'pinch' that ball between the clubhead and the grass.

Flight was not extraordinary high, but I could see from the flight that this ball had quite a bit of action to it.

Next ball to try ---- Srixon Tri-speed Tour...

I have played a few rounds recently with the Srixon Q-Star.  Good ball and behaves well around the greens also, but doesn't  seem to spin quite as much as the e5 (for me anyway).  But you can get it in yellow and for me that makes a difference.

I've been using the E5 since my supply of Pentas ran out.  I quite like it.  My preference is actually the Tri-Speed Tour (yellow) in the ~$30CAD price range, but I can't seem to find them up here anymore.  I wish they made the E5 in yellow!

I tried the Q-Star but just didn't care for it for putting and chipping.  I didn't try it until recently though and I'm wondering if part of the problem was that it doesn't handle the cold that well.  I've heard people say it spins and putts really well but I just didn't see it.

e5 is a close second to an NXT Tour for me.

Great Ball!!!

In my Ogio bag.

Titleist 910D2 driver, Adams irons & hybrid, Callaway wedges & a Nike Method putter.

And a yellow ball.
