I work at a private golf club  we are contemplating installing synthetic mats on our range. We now have a beautiful natural grass range and as the economy has changed many clubs we bring in a lot of private fund raising groups , corporate golf outings even the wet days our range takes a beating . What are our options if we want to put a strip of synthetic turf in to send the groups to?

If you are looking for types of mats, I can highly recommend these: Everyone claim they are very durable. I've only had mine for a season so far. http://thesandtrap.com/t/52524/is-real-feel-mat-website-reputable-or-should-i-go-with-something-else http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/422541-is-anyone-happy-with-their-practice-mat/ http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/299986-swing-mat-and-net/ http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/214540-golf-mat/ http://thesandtrap.com/t/52225/mat-and-net-recommendations-please http://thesandtrap.com/t/53950/practicing-with-a-net-what-is-your-setup http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/topic/410536-practice-mat-wanted-thick-and-heavy-duty/ http://www.zenchili.com/2009/11/20/review-country-club-elite-golf-mats/ You can buy a small hitting strip to send in.

Thank You for your reply Zeph! Am I to look at all the sites you posted or are they backup / recommendations of the same mat?

    • A bit back at it tonight. I just wanted to add in the feel of a softer left arm through out the backswing. This helps me hinge the club. I make sure I am not bending it a ton, but not straightening it. It helps feel like I can keep the club in front of me more and lift the club up sooner.
    • If you make assumptions excessively favorable to Tiger that leave out the best arguments for Jack that most people would never use to evaluate greatness in other sports and didn't use to measure greatness in golf until Tiger got injured, then sure. Here is how Gemini rates both of them just in major output with a prompt to generously subsidize Tiger's record because of field strength. And also the answer to the question who had more longevity Jack or Tiger.  Hopefully this puts the trutherism to rest.
