Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had a list of ranges in the LA area where you can kit off of grass?  I live near the 405/710 interchange and there's really only 1 near me, the long beach golf learning center.  I like the place, however, they are fairly busy, and late in the day all the grass range stalls are pretty tore up, and some areas of the grass doesn't seem to recover as much as others.  You can be in some nice thick, 1st cut type grass, or mud.  (Btw, I highly recommend the range despite some less then stealer quality grass at times).   My main problem was I showed up yesterday (sunday) and nearly all the grass stalls were in use, making choosing a good spot hard.

I know of only a few other ranges that have grass:  westchester or skylinks (only on certain days though), and down in irvine, oak creek has grass.

Any others?

Thanks!

(btw.. admins, feel free to move this thread to another forum if that's more appropriate)...

They're on grass certain days and it was decent when I hit off of it.  In you're looking for a good instructor, want to send a shout out to my man Dana Dahlquist that teaches there.
