Decided to take a plunge on these.  Anyone here play them?  I was actually debating on getting the older X-14 Pro Series..but these were a really good price (3-PW)  I heard the lofts are a tad weaker than most..which I'm not worried about.

If you mean the X Tour irons from 2005, they have a rather low Maltby Playability Factor = 460. This puts X Tours in the Conventional, which means a bit low on "user friendly." X Tours had a Vertical Center of Gravity = .780 - a rather high point meaning lower trajectory for the irons.

The Steelhead X14 family ranked better, scoring in Ultra Game Improvement: X14 has MPF = 980 and X14 Tour has MFP = 891.

Note that the MPF only covers the characteristics of the head design. It does not take into account what shaft you have in the iron. Basically, you'd need sufficient clubhead speed to make the X Tours work, and be a fairly decent ballstriker. A skilled clubfitter could help you on this.
