Rebending bent clubs?

I am able to get a good deal on a set of 2 degree upward bent irons. I have never hit irons that weren't standard bend. What is the benefit of 2 degrees upward bend?  If they do. It work for me is there any harm in bending them back to normal?  Will it compromise the. Lib being bent and rebent back again?

The benefit is that they fit a particular player's stance.

No problem getting them bent to a lie that suits you  - which could be 2 degrees down.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

No problem to get them bent back... take 'em in and hit off of a lie board and have them bent accordingly... shouldn't cost more than about $5/club.
