I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in Equipment...if it needs to be moved I understand.

Here is a link for what I'm looking at:
http://www.austads.com/austads/produ...BAAHOGNOEAKBH&

I think if this thing is hight quality it would be the best thing since sliced bread. You see I live in North Dakota so I can only play a few months out of the year, so this would be perfect to keep the game sharp. What I'm curious about is how acurate this thing is and how well does that ball hold up...Is it going to go to hell on me after a few rounds or is the ball gonna fly off and crash into something in my house??

Have any of you had any experience with this...is is a complete rip off piece of crap or is it well worth the money???

Do you have an indoor range? A golf dome, as they say? I think watching the ball flight - even if for only 80 yards or so - will do a lot more for you than such a simulator.

No i don't have either of those I really won't be using this is a training device but more as entertainment when its to shitty to go outside. I'm just wondering how well it will hold up. The arm that holds the ball looks like it could snap pretty easily.

I've received the ball on the string thingy for Xmas couple years ago. It wasn't this one with hookup to a pc, but had a small display with yardage and hook-straight-slice LED's. Crap. Not realistic, not true (I wish I could hit 8i 230 yds), not sensitive enough to really capture ball flight. I'd not buy it - but it's of course only my opinion, I could be wrong...
