I have devloped an OTT swing and my ball striking has suffered tremendously. Out of frustration and trying too hard I hit it right, left, fat, thin, and with no distance. I seem to release the club way too early more often than not. Any thoughts?

Since I haven't seen your swing, I'm going with the piece that will keep your arms in the most.  On the downswing press into the ground with your left foot, keep the left knee flexed longer into the downswing while the right leg "drags" behind you.  Meaning the right leg will have less flex, be straighter than the left knee
