Hi to all,

I am new to this site and i am from sunny South Africa.

Came along these 2 clubs as sets and i am now in doubts to which one of the 2 is the best

Club No 1: It is a Taylormade tour preferred and i think released in 2011 might be wrong here.

Club No 2: It is a Taylormade R7 TP.

Both sets are in good nick, the R7 sets has done +-15 rounds of golf and are still in a very very good condition, as a matter of fact it still has its box when it was bought.

The Tour Preffered is also in a good condition and it looks still good but you can see that the guy that had them did not worry about it compare to the R7 set.

I think both are semi blade clubs, but need the experts to help me out here as i am now in a stupid zone.

Please guys help me out here.

Regards

there are 3 kinds of tour preffered, MC, CB, and MB, which do you have? it all depends on that, but the TP's are more recent.

Those Tour Preferreds are actually a few years old, though still not as old as the R7 TPs. They're a pretty similar club, both have thin toplines and soles, and are made for pretty good players. Both are cast, though the Tour Preferreds have a bit more technology behind them. I'd go with which ever what was in better condition.

In my bag:

Driver: Titleist TSi3 | 15º 3-Wood: Ping G410 | 17º 2-Hybrid: Ping G410 | 19º 3-Iron: TaylorMade GAPR Lo |4-PW Irons: Nike VR Pro Combo | 54º SW, 60º LW: Titleist Vokey SM8 | Putter: Odyssey Toulon Las Vegas H7
