Hi

I have a real problem with regards to my head movement. During my backswing I've been told that I dip my head considerably, which of course requires a lot of 'timing' to get it back to the correct position at impact. This is giving me a lot of problems with consistency. Many of my shots come off the hosel as the club has been pushed slightly past the ball by my leaning forwards.

Two questions..

1. How much of a problem is dipping the head during the backswing?

2. Are there any good drills to counter this which I could work on?

Thanks

Greg

Without seeing your swing it is hard to tell if it is a problem and what it could cause. A little dip is fine, but too much can cause problems. It could also be a move you do to compensate for something else. There are so many things that can be an issue here that I won't give any advice on how to work on this without seeing your swing. Giving you blind advice can quickly cause more problems.
