Brand new to golf...never played (besides the driving range and mini-golf), but what would be a good first set of clubs? If the price going to really have an effect with me being so new? Thanks!

I agree with mlf16507.   Some lessons would definitely be a good idea. Maybe get to the point where you can play a round. And then you could go try some clubs out, get fitted and find out what clubs would be best for you to buy.

I do suggest getting fitted for your clubs once you decide to buy. There are lots of good threads on here to give you information about that as well.
