Hi All

Yes I am not a good golfer.  On our local  not too hard flat course I shoot anywhere from 43 to 58 depending on the day.   Sometimes hit it well sometimes top it sometimes hit it fat.  Am 40, tens to not have fast clubhead speed, am 5 ft 6.   I have three iron sets and think going back and forth does not help me.   Love to get opinions on which to stick with...

For many years have played have played Wilson prostaff os irons with graphite shafts.

Last year picked up some gigagolf 920 high launch with TT feather lite shafts that are 1/2 inch short

Just acquired a set of eye 2 black dots with the original steel shaft.

Wilsons feel little better with the graphite, but wonder if playing steel would make me get better in the long run...

Thoughts?

Thanks!

Check the shaft lengths - at 5'6", you may need shorter than standard lengths. Get a static fit, and then a dynamic fit. Static = someone taking vital measurements with your setup and clubs. Dynamic = watching you swing with the clubs.

Stick with the Wilsons......and get some lessons, say at Golftech, if you have one close.

Then, once you have learned how to swing the club properly, you can look at replacements and upgrades.
