I spent the weekend working on lag and feeling pressure point 3 and I have failed. I have a Pure ball striker coming so that might help. I was wondering what if any correlation is there between pressure point 3 and swing weight of clubs will a heavier swing weight help me feel club lag?

Thanks,

Carl

In a word, no. In 5SK, lag is basically Key #3. You should have a good ability to do Keys #1 and #2 first, then work on the edge of your ability. If you can only sustain lag for a short stroke (knee high to knee high, perhaps), only hit those shots.

It usually takes more than a weekend. Don't feel discouraged. Just don't give up. [/quote] More likely,a lighter overall weight with a very small grip will help. A heavy weighted club with large grip masks a lot of the elusive feeling of control you are trying to achieve. You should be swinging slowly, so you will not be creating tons of lag pressure anyway, right? Try a light club with a ladies grip and see if you can make it feel heavy when you swing. Heavy clubs already feel heavy regardless of how you swing them. Hope this helps.
