Hello everyone. Here's a few videos showing my swing from the front and back with woods and irons. I'm looking for some thoughts and feedback. My goal is to increase my ball striking and consistency. Thanks for the input.

Strong and athletic is not the problem here at all. To me your move is nice, looks like your hips lag behind your body a touch. This is a ben hogan video that is quite telling of the take away, how to load up and get back the most simplistic way. Proved wonders for me, mainly how it showed me to fire my right hip at the target and let my upper body follow. Think you will find a big power gain as well. Hope it helps!

Regards,

With the driver, my most common miss is a slice. With the irons, I usually miss right as well. Slice would have to be the miss I hate the most. I play a fairly tight course with a lot of water, so usually when I miss it costs me a ball and a penalty. It's probably a function of my strong grip, but I can't get comfortable with anything else. For reference, I wear XL gloves and use the vardon overlap grip. If you had a driver in your hand and were looking at the reference lines on the grip, my left hand's thumb would be to the right of those lines, instead of directly on them. My right hand's thumb would be in the proper position with the "v" aiming at my right shoulder. I currently hold the club "in my fingers". I'm thinking midsize grips would help me get a more comfortable grip with all of my clubs.

Thanks for the video Finenative! I'll try the drill out and let you know how it works for me.
