hi,

I have a question - is there any reason why you can't mix a set of AP1's with AP2's ??

I was thinking of getting the AP1's from the 7I thru the 3I and then the AP2's from the 8-PW

this way my game from 150 yards in is with the AP2's barring extreme wind conditions.

I know the lofts on the AP1's are stronger but other than this - any reason why not too??

I welcome all your thoughts - on the individual sets as well

thanks in advance

I don't see why not.  You already mentioned the biggest issue I thought of, that being the lofts.  You'll have 6* gap instead of 4 between your 7 and 8.  And you could bend the 8 1* strong to equally split the difference between 7 and 9.
