Hey Everyone... I have been thinking of a few things that may be stupid to some people and to some it may be a benefit but everyone know a golf swing does not come over night...but practice also makes us better.....so is what were practicing, right? if im to bent over at address am i practicing right when my posture stinks......so i thought it would be good to take a Excel spreadsheet and make a checklist of what we should do for example until someone looks at thereself with a camera they might think they feel right....but we know that feel most of the time isnt real....so can we really go on to the next step if step one isnt complete? for instance at address: Is my hands to far back? or forward? is my head down? am i set up like Mike and Andy told me to set up? if you practice simple things like this and then you feel confortable with it then you can check it and go on....but if not then you have to work on little things....i know the list can be probably a little extensive, BUT it could help some people like myself know.... take the arm take away, for some it may feel like your taking it inside but until you have a camera shot of it, is it what the S&T; guy perscribe? maybe my arms are to far inside...or maybe their not inside at all.... Any suggestions or ideas....or im just stupid with coming up with this?

I am not sure I would go with a checklist, reason being it might get a bit long. Then you are checking like 15 things and it gets hard to swing. I do suggest however keeping a journal that you can bring with you to the range and you say that today you are going to work on 1 thing, write it down and then log the results. Did it look good on camera, how was the ball flight. The nice thing about the journal is it will allow you to go back and review what worked and what didn't. You can also use the journal to show your pro and he/she can give you feedback on it.

    • Day 49 - 2024-11-18 Light day of HackMotion work in the basement with my putting. Suffice to say my feels very closely align with what is measured.
    • Day 200 (18 Nov 24) - Broke out the MacGregor blades to do some “vintage” club pitches and chips.  Focus was on alignment and where I am looking in relation to the ball…have been working on finding a focal point about 3-6 inches ahead of the ball (toward the target) and not staring at the ball.  Getting very predictable strikes.  Overall it was a fun drill session and will serve as a warmup to tomorrow’s planned front 9 walk with these irons and persimmon woods and of course a “new” putter - a Acushnet Bullseye…
    • TV ratings  continue to drop. Stop the endless wiggles and waggles.
    • I believe that losing a tour card is too extreme but definitely agree that more needs to be done to prevent slow play.
    • Its way past time both tours  have  major  penalties for  slow  play. I  hate  it when they say" This group is  on the  clock". Big damn deal. Issue  penalties. Maybe Hull is a  bit too harsh but  its time a slew  of  2 stroke  penalties start  being  issued.     Charley Hull is fed up with slow play on the LPGA, so she offered a ‘ruthless’ solution “I’m quite ruthless, but I said, ‘Listen, if you get three bad timings, every time it’s a tee shot penalty; if you have three of them, you lose your Tour card instantly.’ I’m sure that would hurry a lot of people up, and they won’t want to lose their Tour card. That would kill the slow play, but they would never do that.” Who knows if that will work. But if it does not, maybe the PGA Tour should adopt Hull’s idea. The LPGA should, too, or at least assess penalty strokes for slow play. Five-hour rounds for a final group on Sunday is unacceptable and a quick way to lose interest and engagement from fans.
