Thanks for the reply!  I will try out your advice.

Will the placement of the shaft on my heel pad help to create a draw or hook?  I seem to have trouble getting the ball to hook when I need it to play that shot.

Thanks for the help!  That makes a lot of sense.

Quick update on my swing. I am working on sliding my hips forward. I tend to hit shots fat a lot so this would be a great help in my game. Any feedback?!

Looks like the knees are rotated inward a little bit leading to the hips not turning enough on the backswing. Turn the feet out at address and turn the hips more.

Thanks for the feedback!!  I guess I really need to exaggerate that bowed knee feeling.  I definitely see what you mean with the lack of hip turn.   Should the hips turn the same with all clubs?  Driver, 6-iron, wedge, etc...

I will work on that tonight, thanks again!

Yeah it's about the same for every club, little less with the wedges, little more with the woods. Not something to think about though. Just try to do the same thing on every swing.

Tried working on bowing my knees and more hip turn. Hit the ball very well tonight. Any feedback based off these videos? I would like to get my hands a little higher.

Good to hear. Here's what I would recommend you look at next and will help the hands load more "up".

Lower the eyes and chin, lower the handle as well. Your eyes and chin are oriented too high and this will also make it harder for you to turn more earlier. You want to be able to see the ball out of the center of your eyes, you're not and it's effecting your pivot.

It will also lessen the need for you to change your height so much, so less "timing" involved.

Thanks again so much!!  I really appreciate the time you take to review my swing.

I will have to work on my head placement now.  I always knew I dipped down but never really knew it was that much before!   That would probably explain a lot of my fat shots...

Do you have any drills for this?

Drills for the head dipping down? Like I said, part of that is from the eyes not being down enough at address. It's a compensation move in order to get closer to the because you're so "up" at address.

That makes sense.  I used to play a lot of hockey and I think I picked up that move from there.  You have to keep your head up in hockey and then you need to hit the ice about 6 inches behind the puck on each shot... Complete opposite of golf.

I will work on that new setup tonight and sticking my belly in.   Thanks again!

Does anybody have any suggestions for a good instructor in the Denver, CO area?

I am looking at lessons but don't want some old guy with the wrong ball flight laws...
