Another "help my slice" thread

Hey everyone,

I went out on the course today and realized that my short game has improved drastically, I can now hit up near the pin from within 50 yards.

Now the next part of my game I really want to attack is my awful slice of the tee.

The ball starts out going straight and ends up 180 yards away rolling perpendicular to the way it started.

I believe this may be a swing path issue, if so, what should I look for and how do I fix it?

If it is another issue please let me know.

Yes, Its the path. Start the down swing with your hips, hands and arms, not your shoulders\upper body.

If its a push slice, then its the clubface angle. If its a pull slice then its a swing path issue. First find out were your ball starts off, find a target on the range, line up some clubs, one for the feet and one for the ball, and hit over a flag or yardage sign and see if it starts left or right of it. Though you could have such an open club face that the ball would start right no matter what, but that is very rare.
