Putting is the worst part of my game! I shoot in the mid to low 80s. If I could make a few more putts I could save 5-8 strokes a round. I three putted for bogey 4 times from 30', 18', 13' and 10'. I two putt par from 12' and 7'. This was in one round shot an 81 on a par 72. Can someone please help me make more putts?

Best drills for me on carpet on indoor green are ones to show that I aim starting the ball out on my intended line (i.e. aiming).  There usually isn't a lot of break to read indoors.  Here are a couple:

1.  Place two balls 1.5 ball widths apart perpendicular to your line.  Start 6" back and putt through the balls without touching them.  After three good ones, move to 1 foot, 2 feet , 3 feet, etc.  Set up each attempt like a real putt, i.e., take time to see your line and putt with your normal routine.  This drill becomes increasingly more difficult because the error gets smaller as the target moves further away.

2.  Pool table drill.  Put a ball 3 feet away and try to putt your ball to hit the other ball dead center so the ball you hit moves directly away from you.  Now you have two balls to try and hit.  do the same with both of them.  this drill is good because you don't have to keep clearing the carpet.  You just aim at one of the balls out there.  You also have little paths between balls to get your ball through.  If you carpet does have some break, it makes it more challenging.

3.  Speed drill.  Put a dime down at 3, 6 and 9 feet.  Try to stop you putts at the exact spot in distance.
