just pulled the trigger on a beautiful old set of Tommy Armour 709 blades. and i have no idea why, i just had this crazy desire to try out a classic set of forged irons. we'll see how it goes... lol.

Perhaps I should qualify, I have no intention of actually taking these out on the course - I'll stick to my fitted X-18s for that. This is more out of curiosity; I'll probably just take the 7 iron to the range and see what it's like. I've never hit that kind of club.
