I know this may be asking a lot, but can someone (ahem, Mike or Erik) put together some links in this thread (or in a sticky) on the procedures or path (from a foundation up) to follow for the components of the swing. What I mean is there is a wealth of information on here for address, backswing, downswing, secondary axis tilt, hip slide, follow through etc.. but it's in bits and pieces in several threads. The reason for this request is to get notion of what needs to happen when, and what parts we can use to practice without practicing the wrong things at the wrong time.

What I am asking for is a post of links, maybe grouped by section, of the components of the swing so one may follow a path and work on getting down the steps to be able to practice the next step.

I am not asking for a novel, but just some links to posts within this forum.

Something like this

Address:

Post Link 1

Post Link 2

Backswing:

Post Link 1

Post Link 2

Downswing:

Post link 1

Etc...

This way it would be easier for someone to work in order instead of willie nillie...

Is this something that can be done, or is it asking too much. I know the response might be "well everyone is different and ...", but with the posts on this site and if they were organized in an order so someone can say, Wow, I really need to work on the backswing before my hips slide and second axis tilt..

Does this make sense?

I suggest you consider the 5 Simple Keys and ask yourself which of those is the priority. They typically go in order: 1-5. Though there are exceptions when, say, 4 might be more important than 1 or something.

Ok, I guess I got it. I don't see how that forces everyone into the same exact swing since the information would be the same, whether you catagorized them or I searched for them, it would just lead me to the same posts.

No worries, I won't ask again. i will work on the 5 keys. thanks.
