Recently upgraded from a r9 supertri stiff flex to a r11s xtra stiff with an upgraded shaft.  I went with the aldila rip nv x stiff.  I am having a very hard time controlling this club.  I am beginning to think it may be to stiff.  I upgraded to the r11s and this shaft because I have a swing speed avg of around 107 and the r9 i was fading 90 percent of the time.  Not terrible, still playable.  I still have the fade.  I went to the range tonight and messed around with it.  I changed the weights to 10 in the heel 1 in the toe.still fading it.  the fade is more noticeable with the r11s than the r9  Left the face angle at neutral because when i change it to closed i hook it.  any suggestions?  If i can not get it dialed in might just sell it.

The shape of the shot is not necessarily a matter of the shaft stiffness. At 107 you're probably a tad closer to an S than an X, but even then you should be okay. Get your swing on video and fix the flaws before you mess around too much.

Why did you replace a driver that was working okay for you?

I replaced the old driver due to getting no height what so ever on it. Plus the shaft was really whippy. Would adding different weights help to straighten this out. I would like to start drawing the ball.
