Hey;Played the Black on Friday and it is player friendly.The rough is manageable and the greens are in great shape.Teed off at 8:39 and got around in 5 hours even which for Bethpage on Friday is pretty good.By the way shot 90 42-48.Quess I got tired in the heat but had a great time sweating!!!!

Woo-eee! That's great, good for you! I've always wanted to play there, but tales of guys sleeping in their cars in order to get a tee time has always scared me off (there's not much room in a Subaru).

do you actually have to sleep in your car or can you sleep in a sleepting bag on the sidealk by the parking lot?

You can call in if you are a single it is fairly easy to get a time.It will not be a early morning week end time but during the week you can play.Out of staters are charged 110.00 to play.I belive it is more on weekends but i would not recomend trying for a weekend.
