I have been begging at the feet of par this whole year just to let me get there but have not yet got there. I have shot about 4 or 5 37's this year (par 36) many 38' and 39's but can't get to par! I got close today with 3 birdies 2 bogeys and a double and was putting great. Seems like every time I get a lot of birdies along comes one bad hole also.

So just wondering if others have had this much problem with getting or breaking par and also if it is abnormal for a 7 handicap to not shot even par yet.

After a bad tee shot it does not mean the hole is over, it means you have an opportunity to show what you are made of!

Try doing it for 18. A par 9 is not a par round.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

You're a 7hc and never shot even par for 9 holes?

IMO....it'll happen soon.  Just make 1-2 bogeys & 1-2 birdies and avoid disasters in between and you're there....good luck!!

It'll happen when you stop thinking about it so much... I shot even par on the back a couple weeks ago... it was awesome!

lol it is hard to stop thinking about it and when I am on the course I do my best to just focus on that shot but at the end i still found i could not break par. I do hope soon though so I can work on 18 par.
