You're welcome. The lessons were at the Ocal Golf Club, which is the local muni. I'm actually playing there on Saturday. When are you playing the Waldorf?

Really? Wouldn't be surprised if I've seen you out there, I live 3 mins away and play it alot. I've got an 11:52 on Saturday ($17.00 on golfnow.com). There's only 2 of us playing if you're interested.

**WARNING** Neither of us are close to an 8 HC. :)

Yea they were slower than normal last weekend too. The city does a great job of maintaining that course.

I just played the legends course at orange lake(Palmer) and enjoyed it alot. I think it's a course worth playing, the greens were absolutely perfect and the course is very well kept as well. Only downsides are IMO a soso clubhouse and too much carving through the resort. The course itself was awesome though.

Good job! Did you have to stay at the hotel there to be able to play?

Nice! Give us the scores on the last 3 holes - 16 the par 5, 17 the par 3 & of course 18 with the banana green...

Ha...you would ask that! 3 of my worst holes of the day:) Finished Bogey, Bogey, Double... 16 I went for it in 2 with 230 to go (I was 8 over par...dreams of breaking 80), and tugged it a hair left, which added about 15 yards to the carry...splashed right on the edge of the pond. Probably could have played it, but decided against it. 17 I chunked a 5 iron and couldn't get up and down out of the trap. 18 I hit my drive up the right, pin was front left and I chunked a 7 iron. About half the ball was exposed in the water and I played it. Blasted it over green into a bunker. Couldn't get up and down... Needless to say it wasn't the way I hoped to finish an otherwise decent round.

Yes, you have to stay at the lodge. Awesome place. If you're a fan of Mr. Palmer, visit....

You didn't play that? Doesn't look like it was submerged.

BTW, enjoy our nice balmy weather?

I stood over it a solid 5 minutes thinking about it. My concern was the incline to the green. I was afraid I'd chunk it into the bank and have it roll back into the water...

And I'm all too familiar with the weather. Central Florida is home:)

    • Typically less than 50. I find this can be affected by the "CART" signs on a given course. I don't like taking my rangefinder out of the cart and carrying it around to the green. I am very fearful I will leave it somewhere.
    • First ever holed out greenside bunker shot! It's crazy it took this long to finally get one during a round, but the cold streak is officially over. Hole 6 on the Palmer Course at PGAN. I hit my driver like 225 into a really stiff wind, then worm burned a hybrid into the bunker. I was about I dunno, 40-45 feet away. Birdie! Let's go! The red Xs the approximate location of each shot.  Really fun!!
    • Day 23: Rained all day, so no ball hitting. Worked indoors on top of the backswing feel, and also putted around the living room working on bead.
    • Played Four Oaks in Dracut today going back to the 2 man scramble match play format. My brother and I shot a team 81 winning 3 and 2. Had so many good shots today using a more centered turn. Seems to have really iginited my golf game. We'll see if I can keep it going.
    • I read about him.  Hopefully we have a good “Next Generation” in PGAT future
