Hey guys, anyone out here have a nice golf jacket or zip up you can suggest to me? I am not sure about brand name stuff out there, but I am looking for something that is not too restricted when I swing, and something that doesn't get in the way or hits my jacket in the abdomen section while putting. Something waterproof would also be bonus...Let's hear what you got

i personally cant stand full-sleeve jackets when i play so i got a 3/4 sleeve Foot Joy pull over. its really nice, and is not restrictave at all.
but to really answer ur question, Foot Joy seems to be one of the best for jackets

Adidas makes several a nice ones as well, I own a full length, 3/4, and convertible. Nice thing about them is that they seem to be built with range of motion in mind so they don't feel like other full length jackets...

I have an Adidas 3/4 jacket that is great. However, the mother of all rain jackets is the DryJoys jacket. It's expensive at $250, but it is amazing. Lightweight, has the zip off sleeves, so it can function as both. It's also functional in cold weather. I bought it before a 3 week Scotland trip and it survived in October in Scotland with no problems. I played in 40 mph winds at Muirfield, rain at GlenEagles and it was about 55 degrees both days. I don't even have a winter jacket here in Dallas and wear it on days where it's 35 degrees and am actually warm and not cold at all. I couldn't say enough good things about it.

I own a Dryjoys Rainshirt (long sleeve), and a lighter weight Adidas jacket. Now that summer is here, I wanted the 3/4 sleeve one - I am looking at Dryjoys again, but I have heard good things about Dunning . I haven't seen them in any local stores, so it's hard to judge material, fit, etc.

I can't remember if Sand Trap did a review on them or not....

Snake Eyes makes a waterproof 3/4 zip jacket where the sleeve zip off above the elbow. There is a zip pouch in the back where you can store the zipped off sleeves. There are two sets of pockets on the sides...one set that are open and the other that is zipped and reaches into your the clothes you are wearing underneath. Very functional.

    • Day 562, May 17, 2024 Spent a LOT of time on GEARS stuff today, so while waiting for imports, exports, and all manner of things, I did some rehearsals in the mirror and camera in my basement.
    • Day 16 (17 May 24) - Plans to play a local course with a good friend fell through, got with my son to play Minnesott.  Turned out to be a great day of golf - as we were playing behind the Friday Men's group, pace was steady but not rushed or dreadfully slow.  Had a solid day of ball striking - managing 11 of 14 fairways hit, 8 GIR and 5 nGIR, 27 putts (including a hole out chip in from just off the green to save par with the 56deg wedge).  Shot a new personal best of 76 (39 front / 37 back) from the gold tees (just over 5,500 yds).   Was a good day and my son had a decent day for him as well with an 88.
    • Day 312: Chipped for a bit indoors off my mat. Working on good contact and direction.
    • Day 142: 5/17/24 Stack Full Speed Spectrum training session 13/24. Matched Wednesday’s speed. At lest I didn’t regress.
    • They can't dance either...😂
