I don't know all the specifics, but this sounds like what I see in my game (stats wise) but I interperet it differently. In my case it's not my putting thats so bad, it's my approach shots. If I miss the green by 5', I can chip it close and avg 1.5 putts. If I barely get it on the green, I may avg 2.5 putts because I've left myself a long putt even though I got a GIR. So my issue is I need to be able to hit my approach not only ON the green, but nearer the flag. As far as your 72% of fairways... damn I wish I could come close to that!

I agree, my putting stats are more a relection of my approach shots than how well I putt. It's not just the distance but the overall difficulty of the first putt, downhill, lots of movement etc.

I don't know why, but I look at the face of my driver after I hit one and most of the time I've hit the sweet spot, or very close to it.  I can't seem to hit anywhere but toward the toe with my irons, though,

So what are you saying? Those scuff marks on TOP of my driver may be my problem?
