Actually, I did reference the issue with V1 software and the need to download an update but I neglected to mention anything about Macs and the support (or lack thereof) for Macs.  As I said in my review, those with the current version of the software, don't need to sync because the current course database and firmware is already in watch.

I also mentioned my less than stellar impression of the igolf download/sync process.  I initially couldn't get my device added my iGolf device profile and had to have a customer service person do it for me.  And even then, my device profile indicated that I had v1 when iGolf confirmed I had v2 software.  I couldn't edit the device profile to fix it and eventually just stopped bothering with it.

Both.

I think its best to reduce the band equally from both sides so the clasp stays reasonably centered on the underside of your wrist until you get close to your final fit where a single segment might be removed from one side or the other to get the fit perfect.  Completely remove the clasp by popping out the retaining pins.  Reduce the band size from both sides.  Plan on re-installing the clasp 3 or 4 times to get the fit just right.  As I said previously, when the band is close to the correct size, each segment has an increasingly larger impact on fit.  It's not difficult and you only have to size it once.  Just take your time.

Although fitting is an extra step you wouldn't have to do with typical sports watch bands, This type of band is likely to be more durable.  I usually only get a year....maybe a little more...before the usual sports watch bands start cracking and need replacing.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
