why is the pga the least popular major?

The courses I listed are in the Boonies, but "it you build it, they will come" Some of the British Open rota courses are in difficult to get to locations with a lack of big infrastructure, but they are never short of patrons.


But you still need hotel rooms for The Open and that's why some great courses in Great Britain do not get the Open. As far as the reputation of Cypress and Pine Valley, those in the know and those who vote on such things have no problem gaining access. They will never lose their stature.

Add Seminole in Juno (North Palm Beach) to that list. The pros line up for it the day after the Honda to play their own money in the hottest member-guest in the country. The field is second to the Masters (ok, not quite, but it is impressive with the biggies all there).
