Leaderboard Sort Order for Players With Identical Scores

I have always believed that it was the current player to tie the score went on top of the leaderboard wether first, second, third on and on. But what I have found when Rory McIlroy is playing his name always stays on the top no matter what.

The leaderboard is a TV thing. It's just about TV production, so… they'll tend to rank the better players at the top so that a viewer will be more likely to stick around to watch.
