Calling all Experts!! Real or fake AP2 712s

Just won a set of AP2 712s on the Bay and than started reading about counterfeits on the World Wide Web.

Tell me what you think (only if its good news otherwise don't haha)

They look legit.  $770 isn't that far off from list price and given they were +1/2" it sounds like they were custom ordered for someone who backed out.  I'd say you got a good deal.

Yeah, they look real to me.  I'm no expert, but based mainly on the photos you provided in your link, the fake ones had a much larger "AP2" on the back of the club.  Yours seem to match the "authentics" in those photos.

Yeah i called Titleist today and provided the serial #, they gave me the specs as described on the Bay and also said they were sent to the midwest where the listing is home to so i figured the same thing that someone had ordered them and backed out

I still think i want to send them to Titleist and have them authenticated that way I won't wonder when I put one in the lake haha.

That seller moves a ton of Scotty Cameron accessories that are real specialty items. I would venture to say that you should have no problems.
