golf noob !

Hey, new to the forums, thought id just introduce myself...Ive actually just begun to really study the game and learn as much as I can about a month ago. Ive golfed on and off throughout the years, moreso just on occasions with friends or the old man, but usually its always been limited to vacation time killer, never really put much into it and can only say maybe 30 rounds total in the last decade or so...but now that im into things, I find the game of golf to be a lot more fascinating that it was ever presented, and am finding that the knowledge is starting to translate through my game. Pretty excited about it all, so.

my recently acquired setup is brand new, just got the equipment about a week ago, and havent even had the time to test em out other than a few buckets at the range. I was playing some old hippo irons along with some knockoff driver my dad gave me, but I decided to grab take advantage of some deals. Picked up a Diablo Octane Tour Driver 10.5 loft, with the Diablo Edge Irons (steel). Hope I can learn a lot from people who actually know what they are doing here!!
