Stock steel shaft for Adams a7 irons?

I have a set of Adams Idea a7 irons that I really like. Does anyone know what aftermarket True Temper shafts are closest to the True Temper Performance Lite Steel 95 gm shafts Adams puts in the a7? They are made for Adams by True Temper, but neither company has been forthcoming with information.

Are they like the GS Series, where the shafts are bought to length for each iron but each shaft is the same weight? Or are they like the DG 0.370, where one single shaft is used and each shaft is tip and butt trimmed for each iron and each shaft is a different weight?

Bob, the A7s are a great set of irons (and hybrids).  Both of my brothers and one of my friends have them.  If you're looking to re-shaft them maybe consider the KBS Tour 90.  They came standard on the Adams CB2 which were all around great clubs (not sure why they discontinued them), and I think comparable to the A7s.

I know that's not much help to your question, but maybe another option to consider.  Any pro shop or golf store should be able to tell you if they'll properly fit your irons or not.

Probably discontinued in favor of the CB3s... :) Whats the point in selling the old when you've already released the new? :)
