I've been on the injured list since August of last year with neck and shoulder problems.  Now I seem to be improving under a Drs. regimen of steroid shots for bursitis/tendonitis and TPI injections for muscle pain, and I am starting to think about getting back to playing.  So I've been thinking about going out and doing some chipping and putting.  And then trying 3/4 shots with a gap wedge.  If that goes well I'm thinking of going out on the course with one of my golf buddies and rather than play entire holes just drop a ball at about the 100 yard mark and play in from there.  Essentially playing pitch and putt.  We don't have a pitch and putt course around here so I thought that would be a good way to ease into playing.

Anyone else have similar injuries and come back to playing and have any advice for me?

Thanks.

But then again, what the hell do I know?
