My golf swing has gotten steep and I do not know how to fix it. I am cutting across the ball resulting in weak slices from an open face or pulls when i get the face square. The steep swing works great for a fade but thats the only shot i have. I just cannot get the swing path to move from inside to out. This is really frustrating. Any drills that can help fix this? 16 handicap

I began this summer instructing kids at the first tee and you would not believe the amount of them that have the same problem. I like to do the drill with them where I set a golf ball about 2 feet behind the ball and tell them to take there club back over the ball. Typically swings that come over the top are coming to far to the inside on the back swing. Coming over the top is your bodies way of compensating and trying to get back to square. When you do this drill try hard for about 5 swings to hit the ball as far right as you can. Then dial it back till you straighten your ball flight out. It usually takes about a session at the range to see results for my kids so I know it will help you.

Thanks Sacman, I am going to give this drill a try. Someone said to put a glove/ towel under my right arm. Will this help get my swing on the right path?

I would imagine it would. On your backswing, your right arm may "chicken wing" causing a slice. An instructor I saw helped me keep my right arm closer to my body and it helped my slice considerably. You just need to keep the towel from falling.

Personally i don't like swinging with something under my arm pit because it's not natural. If it doesn't feel right then you probably aren't going to be able to repeat it out on the golf course.
